Description
Recirculating Cooler with Tank is designed to provide reliable temperature-controlled cooling for laboratory, research, analytical, and industrial applications requiring water circulation at or below ambient temperatures. Suitable for closed-loop cooling duties, the system offers an efficient alternative to mains water cooling for laboratory equipment and temperature management applications.
The refrigerated tank system has an approximate capacity of 12 litres and, when used with a compatible immersion heater circulator, can deliver accurate temperature-controlled water for applications requiring stable cooling and thermal regulation. The integrated heavy-duty recirculating pump provides closed-loop circulation at approximately 7 litres per minute, supporting dependable cooling performance across a variety of laboratory workflows.
Designed for versatile cooling applications, the unit can be used for cooling heat exchangers, electrophoresis baths, condensers, and other compatible laboratory systems requiring continuous recirculated coolant flow. To help protect internal heat exchanger components from accidental damage, the standard cooling configuration is factory set with a minimum cooling limit of 4°C. For applications requiring lower operating temperatures, a factory-configured version with a minimum temperature of -10°C is available. Suitable additives are required for low-temperature operation to help protect the cooling system.
The tank and surrounding wetted components are manufactured from polished Grade 304 stainless steel to provide durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term laboratory performance. The main housing is constructed from heavy-duty plastic for robust everyday use, while heat exchanger components are manufactured from copper for efficient thermal transfer.
The cooling system uses environmentally friendly R134a refrigerant and is engineered to deliver dependable, efficient, and practical laboratory cooling performance for demanding applications.
